Shower House

Shower House

This is a modern building with several amenities including showers, sinks, and restrooms.  This bright spacious facility includes privacy rooms connected to each shower stall.

Construction: The exterior posts are cedar derived from the glade restoration project at the Shaw Nature Reserve (SNR).  The cypress flooring is from ammunition tanks from Louisville, KY.  The beams in the roof are from a row house in St. Louis.  The exterior pine walls were recovered from Steelville, MO.  The doors are reclaimed pine from St. Louis.  The bricks outside the buildings are from Polar Ice Company in St. Louis.  The fencing around the lodges were made from the cedar trees removed in the glade restoration project at SNR.
