Native Landscaping at the Whitmire Wildflower Garden

SNR actively promotes landscaping with native plants and the creation of native habitat areas. From planting a prairie to restoring a wetland, SNR can provide landscaping information. Native plants and seeds are also available for sale once a year. A model of Native Landscaping is provided with the Whitmire Wildflower Garden located near the Bascom House.


Native Plant School
A year-round series of monthly outdoor learning sessions in the Whitmire Wildflower Garden covering various aspects of landscaping with native plants and prairie/savanna/wetland reestablishment.
