Spring Wildflower Sale

Spring Wildflower Sale May 9th at Shaw Nature Reserve.
Wild Ones and several nurseries from throughout the area will offer hundreds of varieties of annual and perennial wildflowers, ferns, trees and shrubs to use in home landscaping and to attract wildlife.

 
 

Native Plant School

Native Plant School is a year-round series of mostly outdoor learning sessions in the Whitmire Wildflower Garden at Shaw Nature Reserve. They will cover various aspects of native home landscaping and prairie/savanna/wetland reestablishment.

 

Open House and Fall Native Plant Sale

Open House and Fall Native Plant Sale September 4th at Shaw Nature Reserve.
We will again sell plants at the Native Plant School's Open House. It will be at Shaw Nature Reserve from 4 to 7 pm.


Native Landscaping Manual

The Native Landscaping Manual is a hands on guide to native landscaping in Missouri.  Each chapter discuses in detail an aspect of native landscaping such as prairie seeding, rain gardening, or invasive species.
